JARED HINES - Guide

I live, eat and sleep bow fishing. I've been doing it for a number of years. Bow fishing is more than just a sport to me, it's also an addiction. I spend most of my time on the water in search of the next fish. I've been fortunate to hunt and fish in many places. These include Wisconsin, Maryland, North Dakota, Ohio, North Carolina, Alabama, and Ontario. My goal is to get everyone on a lot of big fish while having an absolutely awesome time. I am CPR certified, hunter safety certified, boater safety certified, and a licensed Wisconsin guide. Looking forward to seeing you, your family, and friends out on the water soon!!

In Memory of KIM MITTLELSTADT

My fishing habit started when I was 4 years old. I grew up on a river spearing, netting, and catching carp and suckers during the spring run. Every year the family vacation was a 10 day walleye fishing trip to Canada. That lead to fishing in North Dakota, Minnesota, Ohio, and several trips to the Gulf of Mexico deep sea fishing in the ocean. I have hundreds of trips logged on Lake Winnebago and I have fished several walleye tournaments throughout the Midwest. I have first-mated several years on Lake Michigan for salmon with 3 years as Captain. I currently hold a Merchant Mariner Credential (Captains License). Since retiring after a 32-year career as a police officer, I have traveled the U.S. including several trips each fall and winter to my hunting lease in Texas, annual waterfowl hunting trips in North Dakota, as well as spring snow goose hunts in Missouri and Arkansas. EVAN MARX - Guide

I have been hunting since I was six years old and fishing since I could first walk. I’ve been fortunate to hunt and fish in many places. These include Wisconsin, Maryland, Kansas, North Dakota, North Carolina, Texas, Hawaii, Alabama, Idaho, Tennessee, Maine, Bermuda, Ontario, and the Bahamas. Some of the game that I have taken include white tail deer, Axis deer, Spanish ibex, wild Russian boar, Hawaiian wild boar, Hawaiian black sheep, Canada geese, snow geese, tundra swans, Eastern turkey, Rio Grande turkey, cow nose stingrays, southern stingrays, bull shark, mahi-mahi, and many species of puddle ducks, diving ducks, and sea ducks. I am a 2021 graduate of Mayville High School. While in high school I competed in football, basketball, track, and trap shooting. I am now attending the University of Alabama where I am majoring in business. Also, I am fortunate to be on the University of Alabama trap shooting team. I am a licensed guide, CPR certified, hunter safety certified, and boater safety certified. With almost 10 years of bow fishing experience, my goal is to make sure you have an incredible time on your trip. Give us a call!

EYAN MARX - First Mate

I have been bowfishing since I was nine years old. When you are on a trip with us, I am going to make sure that you have everything you need to have a great time. I have been hunting since I was six years old and fishing since I could first walk. I’ve been fortunate to hunt and fish in Wisconsin, Maryland, Kansas, North Dakota, North Carolina, Hawaii, Alabama, Idaho, Tennessee, Maine, Bermuda, Ontario, and the Bahamas. Some of the game I have taken includes Spanish ibex, eastern turkey, Rio Grande turkey, tundra swan, snow goose, Canada goose, ring necked pheasants, coyotes, spinner shark, cow nose stingray, southern stingray, many species of puddle ducks, diving ducks, sea ducks, and a large variety of freshwater and saltwater fish. I am currently attending Mayville High School, where I will be graduating from in 2023. I am actively involved in football, basketball, golfing , and competitive trap shooting for the flyway clay slayers. I am CPR certified, hunter safety certified, and boater safety certified. EDYN MARX - First Mate

I have been bowfishing since I was 10 years old. The most enjoyable thing about the sport is spending time out on the water with your family and friends. I help out on the trips to make sure that you have the best time possible. I am currently attending Mayville High School where I will be graduating in spring of 2023. I was a competitive gymnast for over 10 years. In school now, I participate in volleyball, track, and trap shooting for the Flyway Clay Slayers. I currently work as a gymnastics coach, and I work as a scorer at the Mayville Gun Club. Looking forward to seeing you and your family out on the water.

I am by no means an avid outdoorsman. Yet, I must say that bowfishing is absolutely amazing. If you have a loved one that wants to come along and not necessarily go bowfishing, but wants to go along for an incredible experience , then this is it. You will be amazed at the beautiful world underneath the surface of the water. On many trips, you will see bass, northern, musky, walleyes, snapping turtles, painted turtles, and many other underwater creatures. Even though you will most likely not see me on the boat, I am in charge of most of the work behind the scenes. You will also see me at all of the events that we attend.
